The whole Article 60 of Rules of organic agriculture is as follows: „ The holdings, intending to fertilize organic production areas with organic fertilizers (solid manure, semi-liquid manure, liquid manure or slurry) or other products authorized for use in organic production and made from these materials may use them from non-organic non-industrial agricultural holdings, i. y. holdings with an average of no more than 300 contract animals per year per holding. Manure and / or slurry must be stored separately from manure on industrial farms“.If a farmer does not use and does not intend to use any fertilizers, he does not need to prepare this fertilization plan. However, according to the Article 40 of the Rules of organic agriculture indicates that: „In all certified areas where crops (excluding areas of fruit and berry orchards, herbs and meadows) are grown, the holdings must by fertilizing the certified fields with solid manure, semi-liquid manure, liquid manure or slurry to prepare a fertilization plan (for which it is mandatory to do so in accordance with the requirements of the Description of environmental requirements for manure and slurry management) and to comply with it“.
